What should you expect from Hillside?
 
When you join us, you can expect a relaxed atmosphere where ties are optional (actually you probably won’t see a tie, but you’re welcome to wear one) and people are friendly. The music is contemporary and the teaching is conversational.

Youth

 
Jr High and High School students are welcome to join us for a time of worship through music and teaching. Service is a 10:30am Sundays behind the Youth room, Wednesday fellowship from 6-7:30pm.

Q: What does it really mean to be thankful?

1st Struggles cause us to be ________ (vs. 1)

2nd ________ in heart (vs. 2) 2 Cor. 1:3-4

Heart: Romans 2:13-16

3rd ________ in love (vs. 2)

________ can only be known from the actions it prompts.

  • Complete understanding

This was once a mystery.

  • The O.T. teachers and prophets spoke of it but never totally experienced it
    • Moses had his moments
    • Isaiah had glimpses
    • Ezekiel saw unbelievable things
    • Daniel witnessed awesome encounters

We enter into this wonderful mystery through our relationship with Christ.
