COVID 19 Update

Hello Hillside Family,

Though these are crazy and uncertain times, God is still on his throne providing his love and peace for each of us. I want to continue to encourage you and me that God is our refuge and strength, he is our ever present help in time of our troubles. Therefore we will not fear (Psa. 46). I have a picture on my wall that reads, “Let your faith be stronger than your fear.” I believe that is the message we need to carry to our families and friends. Many of us are experiencing a life that looks so different than what we could have imagined. Change and new ways of doing things will be part of our future from now on. Today, more than ever, we need to find our strength in Jesus and trust in His promises for taking care of us and our families. That is the hope that we find in knowing Jesus.

This weekend, I will be finishing up our study in Titus. I believe that the message the Lord laid on my heart will be an encouraging one to you and your family. I look forward to being together and experiencing church at home with you. I am grateful for this and that the Governor’s list of “Essential Critical Infrastructure” includes faith-based services provided through streaming or other technology. It is my joy and a blessing to be able to continue to worship and teach in ways that honor our governing authorities and protect our staff. Please note, that even though we have been given permission in the directive to continue to film together and produce these services, we are very mindful and adhering to the CDC recommendations. Providing a weekend service through our streaming platform allows our church family and visitors to interact with each other. It is one place you can stay connected, ask questions, give and receive encouragement and ask for prayer. Your HCC worship team and staff looks forward to connecting online with you through our website and YouTube. Be sure to visit www.hillsidechurch.com for all the links. You can also find opportunities to give and get help at our website. From our Staff and teams at HCC, we love you and we are praying for you. Be blessed, be safe and stay healthy!
