Why are you in ministry? God called me into ministry when I was in High School.  It is a calling that I have not been able to ignore or walk away from.  He has given me a heart for youth and a passion to see students fall in love with Jesus. I consider it a privilege to be a part of these students lives while they grow and mature in their relationship with Christ.

What do you do with your spare time? I am an unashamed sports fan. So I watch sports, play sports, and… actually that’s pretty much all you can do with sports.

What inspires you? There are certain moments in ministry when a student connects with God.  Moments when I know that they have turned a corner in their relationship with Christ.  Moments when Christ becomes the most important person to them and I fade into the background.  I work for those moments.

What is one thing you’d like to see changed about yourself? I have always wanted the singing voice that comes out of my mouth to match the one I hear in my head.

Who is your hero? My wife.  She works harder, and does more to support our family than I could ever dream to do.  What I do would never be possible without her.

What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about you? When I was in High School, myself and four friends spent two years performing as a Boy Band at various church events.  We were called the Birch Street Boys and we rewrote the lyrics of Backstreet boys lyrics to make them focused on God. It was a dark time for all of us.
